There are many herbs and spices which are also well recommended in Ayurvedic medicine.

It is important to apply a holistic approach that combines lifestyle changes, dieting as well as regularly exercising. The important herbs and spices are also the important components of this Ayurvedic approach. This in turn gives the best of digestion as well as mental health to the patients. The important herbs in Ayurveda include – Ashwagandha, Boswellia, Triphala, Brahmi, Cumin, Turmeric, Licorice root, Gotu Kola, Bitter melon, Cardamom, Cinnamon, and so on.
When herbs and spices or any other Ayurvedic medicines are used, it could have potential side effects. These adverse effects need to be well noted so that one could be well precautious in using them.
