Best Agricultural Research Projects including poultry farming, organic farming, cow farming, chicken farming, dairy farming and more

It needs to be well noted that the livestock farming refers to raising of animals for food and is absolutely well planned. The livestock animals play a very important role in rural economic development. Livestock animals in poultry, organic and cow farming include cattle / daily cows, chickens, goats, pigs, horses, sheep and many more. The other animals in the livestock domain include donkeys, mules and rabbits. Honeybees are normally raised for extraction of honey.

It needs to be well noted that India is the second largest market worldwide and the field of aquaculture contributes 1.5% to the total GDP (gross domestic product). The livestock market gives us milk, meat and eggs apart from using skin of hair of animals for clothing, shoes, brushes and blankets. It needs to be well noted that horns and hoofs are used for knives, combs, glue and buttons. When manure is extracted from these animals, it is used to make plants grow much better.

Poultry farming refers to raising of ducks, turkeys, chickens and other fowl for eggs or meat. It needs to be noted that India is the 4th largest market across the globe in poultry with growth expected to 11.3 billion US dollar. Dairy farms are actually the farms that are raised to make milk and milk products like butter, cheese, ice cream and whipping cream. In today’s world, dairy farming and poultry raising are big established businesses. India depicts a stringently high potential in the sheep industry and also diverse genetic resources through which sheep industry can be enhanced.

It needs to be understood well that India is bestowed with livestock resources of vast genetic diversity. The country has the largest buffalo and cattle population in the world and holds the second rank with respect to sheep and goat world population. The live animals being exported from the country include goats, sheep, horses, swine, turkeys, goose, mules, ducks, and others. Buffalo and cattle are normally reared for producing milk and milk products. The other species of livestock include pig, sheep, poultry birds, goats – for meat production. Buffalo meat and Indian beef are preferred across many destinations due to its cost competitiveness, good blending properties as well as high water retention capacity.

Apart from those mentioned herewith, many other animals such as horses, asses, mules, hinnies, and others over the years have registered a profitable growth rate of 4% over last three years. It needs to be well noted that the government is making enormous amount of efforts to tap the vast export potential of the county’s huge livestock population. India, as a country, is bestowed and endowed with livestock resources of vast genetic diversity and boasts for its cattle and buffalo population in the world.

Thus, we have been successful in having a brief about the best poultry, organic and cow farming projects in the country. The success of this sector automatically links itself to the success of the agricultural sector across the country.
