    Printing and Packaging

    It needs to be noted and well understood that the printing and packaging industry is well capable of supplying all kinds of packaging and printing products of outstanding quality and distinguished design.     The printing and packaging industry has many sub industries in it such as flexography, offset printing, laser printing, rotary printing, screen printing, printing press, inkjet, hand block printing, flock printing, digital printing and so on.     FLEXOGRAPHY refers to a kind of printing process which utilizes a relief plate which is flexible in nature. It needs to be well noted that it is a modern version of letterpress wth high speed functionality which can be used to print on any kind of substrate such as metallic films, cellophane, plastic, paper, and others. 

    OFFSET PRINTING is also known as offset lithography  and refers to a commercial form of printing with a technique on a printing plate. Rubber cylinder is used to offset on other material. It needs to be well noted that offset printing happens when there is transferable ink to a rubber sheet from a plate. It needs to be well noted that the set up for offset printing  consumes time and compared to digital printing is more expensive. The disadvantage of this type of printing s that it has slightly inferior image quality compared to photogravure printing and rotogravure printing. 

    ROTOGRAVURE PRINTING refers to a kind of intaglio printing process which involves engraving the image onto an image carrier. This image is known to be engraved into a cylinder and thereafter execute the printing process. 

    LASER PRINTING is used by businesses as they have the reputation of being reliable in making a quality print product. The laser printers are used in creating brochures, creating company fliers, making labels, printing company stationery, and much more. This kind of printing refers to an electrostatic digital printing process producing high quality graphics that passes a laser beam back and forth over a cylinder that is actually a drum. 

    ROTARY PRINTNG refers to a printing press wherein the images to be printed are curved around a cylinder. It needs to be noted and well understood that printing can be easily done on various substrates including plastic, paper and cardboard. Rotary screen printing refers to a continuous method of printing wherein a perforated cylindrical screen is used to apply color. 

    PRINTING PRESS is known to use ink so as to transfer images as well as text on paper. This innovation of printing press helped people to share knowledge more widely and quickly. Knowledge is being able to disseminate faster ad wider than ever before. The other kinds of printing processes or kinds that need to be well noted are INKJET, HAND BLOCK PRINTING, FLOCK PRINTING as well as DIGITAL PRINTING. Each of these have their own set of advantages are disadvantages.
