    It needs to be noted well that it is very important to have a healthy breakfast. Skipping breakfast may be much better than eating unhealthy breakfast food. To have a well balanced and nutritional breakfast, it is essential to consider the best foods that one can eat in the morning (listed below): 

    1. EGGS
    Eggs are healthy and delicious to eat. Research indicates that when eggs are consumed during breakfast, they give a feeling of fullness. Eating eggs also helps maintain insulin levels and blood sugar levels. The egg yolk contains lutein and zeaxanthin – these are antioxidants that assist in preventing eye disorders such as macular degeneration and cataract. 

    2. GREEK YOGURT
    Greek yogurt is delicious, creamy and nourishing. This yogurt is considered to be more concentrated in protein. Consuming this yogurt leads to reducing feeling of hunger and has increased thermic effects than carbs and fat. Consuming yogurt also assists in weight control as they increase hormones promoting fullness. 

    3. COFFEE
    It is amazing to have coffee as a beverage to start the day. Coffee is considered to be high in caffeine which in turn improves mental performance, mood and alertness. Increased consumption of coffee leads to increased metabolic rate as well as burning of fat. Coffee is known to be rich in antioxidants which reduce inflammation and guard the lining of blood vessels. It decreases the risk of liver diseases as well as risk of diabetes. 

    4. OATMEAL
    It is the best choice to have oatmeal, especially for cereal lovers. Oatmeal is made from ground oats containing fibre having health benefits. It also assists in reducing cholesterol. Consumption of oatmeal also leads to increased antioxidants in body which decrease blood pressure and benefits the heart. 

    5. CHIA SEEDS
    These seeds are known to be extremely nutritious and contain a lot of fiber. This fiber is actually viscous fiber absorbing more water. This in turn increases the volume of food that moves through the digestive tract and makes the person extremely satisfied. When a diabetic person has chia seeds, it reduces hunger and leads to improvements in blood pressure as well as blood sugar. 

    6. BERRIES
    Berries are packed with antioxidants are are very delicious when consumed. The most popular berries include blackberries, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Berries are supposed to be low in sugar levels than most fruits. Antioxidants called anthocyanins are packed in berries with protect the heart. 

    7. NUTS
    Nuts are nutritious, tasty and satisfying. They prevent weight gain and are very filling. A person having nuts does not absorb all the nuts in them, although they are high in calories. Nuts reduce the risk of occurrence of heart disease decreasing inflammation and reducing insulin resistance. 

    8. GREEN TEA
    It is very healthy to consume green tea as a beverage in breakfast. It is known to contain caffeine which improves mood and alertness. It is known to contain antioxidant known as EGCG which protects your brain, heart as well as nervous system. 

    9. PROTEIN SHAKE
    It is great to start your day with smoothie and a protein shake. Several types of protein powder can be used such as soy, pea protein, whey and egg. Protein is known to be absorbed very quickly by the body. 

    10. FRUIT
    It is great to consume fruits as a nourishing breakfast meal. Fruits are known to contain fiber, potassium, vitamins and are low in calories. Citrus fruits are high in vitamin C content.
