    3. Candy bars: This refers to a bar shaped confectionery. The basic ingredients of a candy bar include caramel, dates, chocolate, nuts, amongst a few more. This has various kinds of flavours and varieties which are enjoyed by people of all age groups. The most popular candy bars in the confectionery market include Hershey’s bar, milky way, Kit Kat, Take5Candy, Oreo Chocolate Bar, PayDay candy, Marathon candy, Chunky candy, Coffee Crisp, Butterfinger, Almond Joy, Nerds candy, and many more to add in this list. 

    4. Chocolates: The chocolate confectionary market is huge with many brands in it such a Lindt, Cadbury, Ferrero Rocher, Hersheys, Kinder, Thorntons, Nestle, Galaxy, Bournville, and many more. People nowadays usually prefer dark chocolates than the traditional sweet chocolates. 

    5. Caramels: It needs to be well noted that caramel consists of granulated sugar. Water is normally used to thin it and make it ultra soft. At times, cream and milk is also added to it. 

    6. Ice creams: There are many ice cream flavours available in the market such as vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, strawberry, buttered pecan, mint chocolate, and others. 

    7. Toffees: It needs to be well noted and understood that toffee is a kind of confectionery that is made by caramelizing molasses as well as sugar along with flour and butter. This mixture is heated until the temperature reaches hard crack stage. Toffee is many a times mixed with raisins or nuts. 

    8. Halvah: This is actually a confectionery of eastern Mediterranean origin. The ingredients include sesame seeds, semolina, honey, flour as well as butter. This is normally pressed into the form of a loaf and is cut into squares. It is made in different flavours as well as colours. The texture of halvah is normally crisp and gritty. 

    9. Chewing / Bubble gum: It needs to be noted that chewing gum is usually a cohesive and soft substance which is chewed and not swallowed. Chewing gum in modern times is composed of sweeteners, softeners, gum base, polyol coating, different flavours and colors. 

    10. Jellies: These are normally made of fruit juice or water extract of a fruit. These contain most of the insoluble solids of the frit which are crushed and macerated and used in the manufacturing process. 

    11. Mithai: These refers to most of the typically traditional sweets in the Indian market and are used in various different festivals.
