Fasteners, Wire Nails, High Tensile Fasteners, Nuts, Bolts, Washers, Rivets, Clips, Hooks, U-Clamp, Nails, Screw, Centre Bolts, Mild Steel Fastener, Clasps, Hook, Stainless Steel Fastener, Paper Clip, Drawing Pin, Wire Drawing and Wire Nail
There are various fasteners used nowadays and these are well listed below. Let have a discussion about these one by one:
1. Wire Nails
In the field of construction and wood working, it needs to be understood well that a nail is a small object that is made of metal. This is actually used as a fastener for decoration or to hang something. Nails normally have a sharp point at one end and have a flattened end on the other. Also, headless nails are available that are used for specialized purposes and are of great variety. The different types of nails include cleats, spikes, tacks, brads, pins and others.
2. High Tensile Fasteners
These are fasteners that are used for fixings and have the best of material. These can be found in a number of homes and is used for the purpose of auto manufacturing. The bolts and screws that are used for high tensile steel can withstand the best levels of strains and do not lose their strength or structure.
3. Nuts
Nut is a fastening device that consists of hexagonal blocks and squares. It usually has a hole in the centre and is associated with screws and bolts. These bolts and screws are used with a nut as structural components as well as a fastening machines.
4. Bolts
Bolts are threaded fasteners requiring nuts to fasten. These bolts are known to be closely related to screws.
5. Washers
This refers o a machine component that is used in along with a screw fastener such as a bolt and a nut. It keeps the screw from loosening much, so that the load is well distributed across. Thin flat rings as well as soft steel are used for load distribution.
6. Rivets
This refers to a mechanical fastener consisting of a head on one end and a cylindrical shaft on the other end.
7. Clips
These clips are used as fasteners to enable the panels as well as interior trims. These are also termed as “hidden fasteners” with a diverse metal clip. These are efficient, economic as well as ergonomic.
8. Hooks
These are the touch fasteners or the hook and pile fasteners with the best of Velcro. They consist of fabric strips which are fastened well. There are tiny hooks attached with smaller loops. When the small loop pieces are binded and then separated , the strips are known to make a ripping sound distinctively.
9. U-Clamp
These ate the hanging supports that are traditional and have the copper and steel pipes attached to them. The pipe usually fits at the top of the clamp.
10. Nails
These are normally used to fasten wood pieces together, but they are also used as concrete, masonry, plastic and drywall.
11. Screw
This falls in the category of a fastener which is mechanical and has a threaded shaft attached to it. As per the traditional meaning of a screw, bolt is known to pass through nuts as well as screw mates and are known to be fastened well.
The other major types of fasteners include: Centre Bolts, Milk Steel Fastener, Clasps, Hooks, Stainless Steel Fastener, Paper Clip, Drawing in, Wire Drawing, Wire Nails and others as well.
