It needs to be noted and well understood that polishes are used to give shine on the surface when light is reflected evenly on / from it. Any kind of unevenness is smoothened and a protective layer is available. We shall hereby discuss different types of polishes for our better understanding:

    - Liquid Floor Polish is a premium quality non-silicone liquid wax polish that gives the best shine and foot traffic protection on paneling as well as wood floors.

    - Wax Floor Polish is done wherein the wax comes as a paste spread over the floor using a floor buffing machine. Wax floor polish is applied in thin coats using a brush or cloth. It is rubbed briskly to ensure that wax is penetrated well in the area where polish needs to be done.

    - Buffing refers to the process of shining metal or wood or cloth wheel which are impregnated with rouges or cutting compounds. This process normally requires a finish buff and a cut buff.

    - Polish Compound is normally used to shine and clean as well as remove small imperfections on the paint surface of the vehicle. It is used to remove watermarks, remove light scratches as well as clean windows and furniture.

    - Liquid Shoe Polish is used to put a fast shine on shoes and is used for polishing leather in many ways. The liquid shoe polish comprises of various components such as alcohol, lanolin, silicone oil, oleic acid, distilled water, salad oil, turpentine and parts of wax.

    - Stone Polishing refers to an ancient lapidary process whereby rough stone is smoothened by hand and then polished well. Machines are then used to produce very attractive stones.

    - Brick are polished to extend their life. Bricks are used in walls and floors, in residential as well as in commercial settings. It should be noted well that bricks can easily absorb stains. When bricks are polished, dirt is removed from the surface and the material looks new as its life gets extended.

    - Automobile Polish is used to polish the best of automobiles manufactured in the automotive industry. They keep the automobiles look brand new with the best of shine so as to avoid any kind of scratches on it.

    - Nail Polish is manufactured by combining plasticizers and nitrocellulose with color pigments. This mixing is done in speed mill grinding the pigment between roller pairs that are able to work when the pigment is ground with increased speed.

    - Leather Polishing is done following many steps. To start with, dirt and dust is brushed off the leather. Thereafter, show polish is applied with a soft cloth or brush. The shoe brush is used to remove any excess shoe polish. The leather is then buffed using soft cloth with back and forth movements. This is how leather polishing is done (a brief process).

    - Wood Polish is done to protect wood against abrasions and give a shiny appearance to the furniture. Polish evaporates very quickly and is much easier to apply than wood wax.
