Particle board is as the name  suggests a  board  made of particles of bagasse. Thus particle board is a  board  made from bagasse which is bonded by means of a resin under the application of pressure and temperature.The organic binder resin used are normally urea formaldehyde if the particle board is to  be used for interior use, or  phenol formaldehyde is used  if this is  used in  external  exposurer or under severe internal conditions.  Melamine formaldehyde is also used.

The term Activated carbon, active carbon, or active charcoal is  usually  applied  to  amorphous  carbons  possessing   higher absorption  capacities  than  wood  or  animal  charcoal. Many processes  were developed during world war for the production  of effective absorbents for use in gas masks.  Industrial  activated carbons  in  the form of pellets, granules or fine  powders,  and with  many  industrial  applications, are now  available  in  the market under different trade names.

Oxalic acid is the simplest of dicarboxylic acid.  Its name is  derived from the Greek Oxyes meaning sharp, acidic  serfering to the acidity common in the foloage of certain plants from which it was first isolated.  Oxalic acid is commercially available  as the  de-hydrate  containing  28.5%  water.   Anhydrous  acid   is shombic,  hypyramidical,  odorless  and white  in  colour.   De-hydrate  is a monoclinic prism, particles size varying from  fine powder  to  coarse granules which are  also  colorless,  melting point 187oC of anhydrous form and 101.5oC of dihydrate form. There  are   two types of yeast as compressed  yeast. It  is convenient  to  use  dry yeast powder for  bakeries  because  its handling is simple and its preservation easy. Dry yeast which can be contained in the form of pillets or flakes in packets or tins.Can be kept for some time in cool, dry conditions.  It is important to remember that Approximately half as much dried yeast as fresh is  required in any recipe. Reconstitution is necessary before using dried yeast.
