Sulphur WDG has wide applications in agriculture and supports several important plant and soil functions, including maintaining appropriate soil pH, improving nutrient uptake and crop stand, supporting photosynthesis, and contributing to the synthesis of proteins, enzymes and vitamins. It also supports metabolic and growth processes in plant cells and promotes nodulation in legumes, thereby assisting nitrogen fixation.
The manufacturing process involves mixing and homogenizing raw materials with water, refining the resulting slurry through a dynomill, ageing the fine slurry, and atomizing it into a drying chamber. Hot air is introduced in a co-current manner, followed by integrated fluid-bed drying, final drying and cooling. Dehumidified air is used during the fluid-bed drying stage.
